The CV Champions is a unique leadership development program for cardiovascular (CV) EMCRs offering the chance to think strategically, expand their network, & engage stakeholders to create impact in their research.

This exciting program brings CV EMCRs together and develops academic entrepreneurs who are equipped to be future leaders in the CV research sector.

It was held over 12 months and included a combination of workshops facilitated by Science Communicator Dr Ken Dutton-Regester, out-of-session individual and peer-led learning, as well as our hugely popular mentoring program.

We’d like to thank ACvA Operations Project Manager Meng Hsu for organising this mighty program with our Emerging Leader’s Committee. Thank you also to Dr Ken Dutton-Regester who was an inspiring facilitator and Seana Gall, Lee Hunt, Nathan Palpant, Jatin Patel, Holly Pobjie, Chengxue Helena Qin, Julie Redfern, Marc Sim and Tony Willis who all willingly shared their time, experiences and expertise.

You can find more details about the CV Champions program and other ACvA EMCR events and initiatives HERE.

For 2023 graduates – We’re currently evaluating the 2022/23 CV Champions Program and would appreciate if you could complete a short survey HERE.
