ACvA would like to thank all the excellent applications received for the Executive Director of the Australian Cardiovascular Alliance. This is an opportunity to join the leadership team at a critical turning point in cardiovascular research and health in Australia. The appointee will be instrumental in the strategic direction of the organisation and will be announced in the coming weeks.
Reporting to the Board, this newly created Sydney-based role is to shape the future of the ACvA in the cardiovascular research landscape. You will be responsible for operational and financial management, Board governance, implementation of the six strategic Flagships, and liaison with key stakeholders including government and industry. The Executive Director represents the external face of the organisation and is ultimately responsible for driving growth, development and innovation.
